One man, alone and persued for his murderous ways takes sanctuary in the forest. There, he settles amongst a mysterious, enigmatic tree. One day, he finds an envelope nesting in a knot hole in the tree. Its contents lead our anti-hero into a bizarre line of communication with an unseen storyteller. The two wayward souls trade letters and stories with one another via the mystical tree even as the world around them succumbs to events most arcane.
Twenty new short stories to be unleashed into our ever growing pantheon.
